Session FAQs
When should I book my newborn photoshoot?
We recommend booking in your second trimester to guarantee availability. The final date can be adjusted around your baby’s actual arrival date.
What is the best age for a newborn session?
The best window is usually 10 to 14 days old, but we can still photograph babies up to around 3 months with age-appropriate image choices.
How long do sessions usually last?
Session times vary by service: newborn sessions are around 2 hours, most family and cake smash sessions are around 1 hour, and fairy/superhero sessions are around 45 minutes.
Can parents and siblings join the photos?
Yes, family participation is encouraged for many sessions. We can include parent, sibling, and group images depending on your chosen session type.
Do you provide props and outfits?
We provide studio props, blankets, and accessories for relevant sessions. For outfits, we recommend bringing your own so fit and style match your preferences.
What if my baby is fussy or doesn’t like the cake?
This is common and we plan for it. We pace sessions around feeds and settling, and for cake smash sessions we can adapt if baby prefers to skip direct cake contact.
Can I choose my cake smash backdrop?
Yes. We offer multiple backdrop options for cake smash sessions, and some families bring their own theme items too.
Booking & Viewing FAQs
How do I book with Groupon versus direct?
Use the booking page and choose the appropriate option. Direct bookings use the standard scheduler, while Groupon uses the voucher-specific route.
Who should attend the viewing session?
Please bring all key decision makers (up to five adults) so you can finalise your order during the appointment.
What payment options are available?
We offer payment in full and in-studio finance options including Klarna and Clearpay (subject to eligibility and minimum spend).
How quickly are photos and products delivered?
Digital orders are usually delivered quickly after your viewing appointment. Printed products and framed artwork take longer and are provided once production is complete.
Can I change my appointment if needed?
Yes, contact the studio as soon as possible and we will do our best to offer an alternative date in line with the booking policy.
What if I am running late to my session?
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will need to reschedule your appointment.
Can I create a custom product package?
Yes. Suggested packages are available, and we can also build a custom combination of products that suits your preferences.
