Need to know
One hour session with around 45 minutes of shooting time. We recommend booking before baby starts walking. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will need to reschedule your appointment.

One hour session, a cinematic viewing appointment, one 8x6 mounted print, and a digital copy of your selected image (with options for additional artwork).

Can I choose a backdrop?
Yes. We have four backdrops to choose from: Jungle, Pink, Blue, and White. Some customers also bring their own.
Do you provide a cake?
Yes, we provide a chocolate fudge cake. If your child has dietary requirements or allergies, we recommend bringing your own cake.
Do you provide outfits?
Unfortunately, we do not provide outfits for cake smashes. Your own style helps make the photos personal to you.
How long does a Cake Smash session last?
We allow one hour per session, with approximately 45 minutes of shooting time.
What if my baby doesn’t like the cake?
Sometimes this happens, and that is absolutely fine. We can try a 1st Birthday spoon, as some children just do not like touching cake with their skin. We always do our best to capture a strong set of images, and babies who skip the cake often enjoy the splash bath part of the session.
Can parents or siblings join in?
Yes. We include a small window at the start of the session for a family photo, usually one or two images.
What does a Cake Smash & Splash session include?
We split the session into four mini sessions: plain portraits on a white backdrop (with and without ONE letters), the themed cake smash setup with clean props, the cake smash itself with chocolate fudge cake, and bath time splash photos.
